Piyush Goyal announced this initiative on 1 February 2019. Narendra Modi launched it on 24 February 2019, named “PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana” (PM Kisan Status Yojana).
Small and marginal farmers are intended to benefit from the scheme. In order to support farmers, the government launched a scheme that offers 6000 rupees per year over three installments.
According to sources, it is stated that PM Kisan Samman Yojana scheme distributes their 10th installment till Oct-Nov. By the end of the month, registered beneficiaries will receive Rs. 2000 in their bank accounts. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Status) is a central sector scheme in India that provides a source of income for farming families.
In addition to providing financial support to farmers, this scheme assists them in procuring various inputs for agricultural and allied purposes, as well as for domestic use.

Over 9.75 crore beneficiaries received more than 19.500 crores in the month of August directly into their bank accounts.
Sources stated that the farmers who didn’t receive their previous installments will receive them with the next installment.
The Prime Minister’s Kisan Yojana scheme subsidizes small and marginal farmers by providing Rs. 6000 per year to overcome their financial burdens.
The deadline for applying for the next installment was 30 Sep.
Steps for check PM Kisan Status
- Access the official website; click on “Farmer Corner”. Select “beneficiary list”.
- After the new tab opens, put your details accordingly, i.e. name of your village, block, district, and sub-district. Further click on “get report”.
- There will be a list of beneficiaries in your area, find yourself on it.

- To access the PM Kisan Status link, simply type pm.kisan.gov.in into your browser or click here. Click on the “farmers corner” section. A new page will appear as shown.
- In case to check your beneficiary status, there is a section named “Beneficiary status”. Tap on that section.
- The next section requires you to provide your Aadhaar number or phone number.
- After entering details new page will be open with your name, and application status. Moreover, it informs you about the amount deposited by the government into your bank account.

To correct your mistakes, you can follow these steps.
- As above open the official website of PM Kisan Status Yojana “pm.kisan.gov.in”. Browse to the section entitled “farmers corner”.
- Click on the option “Edit Aadhaar Failure”. Fill out the Aadhaar number and captcha code on the following page.
- Make the appropriate corrections after identifying the mistake.
- You may also contact your respective agriculture department for assistance in correcting other mistakes.
